This policy describes how RoboShepherd LLC (“RoboShepherd,” “we”) handles personal information on roboshepherd.net. We are a small Georgia carrier. We do not have a dedicated data-protection officer and we do not claim CCPA certification.

Who is responsible

What we collect

• Contact form: name, email, phone, subject, and message — including COI and shipment-status requests.
• Ship-with-us list: company name, contact name, email, phone, services, and comments.
• Load posts and quotes: company identity, contact details, and freight facts (lane, equipment, weight, commodity). Authority numbers you supply are stored for freight coordination, not published as your EIN.
• Driver applications: contact data and CDL-related answers. Supporting documents may later include a CDL copy, medical examiner’s certificate, MVR, and screening results. Those records are used only for hiring or contracting and DOT compliance.
• Technical data: standard server and hosting logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp) from our processors.

Why we use it

We use this information to dispatch and quote freight, recruit and screen drivers, respond to inquiries, request or issue certificates of insurance, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Who we share it with

We share information only as needed: insurers and certificate holders when you request a COI; factoring partners only if we use them for a given account; FMCSA and the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse when the law requires it; and processors that host the site, store files, or send email (including Vercel and our email provider). We do not share driver-applicant files for marketing.

Cookies and analytics

The site stores a theme preference in local storage. Authenticated portals use session cookies that are not used on these public pages. We do not run a third-party advertising pixel on the public site.

Retention

Contact and quote records are kept as long as they are useful for freight coordination or as required for tax and transportation records. Driver qualification and screening files follow DOT retention rules. You may ask us to delete information that the law does not require us to keep.

Your requests

Email info@roboshepherd.net to request access to, or deletion of, personal information we hold about you. We will respond as the law requires. This is not a consumer “do not sell” portal because we do not sell personal information.

Location

We operate from Villa Rica, Georgia. Servers may process data in other U.S. locations through our hosting providers.
